Nintendo Wii Punch Out Rocks!

May 29th, 2009 — 3:34pm

Anyways as everyone knows I have a Nintendo Wii and the main reason I got it was because I could play retro games as I am a big fan of games like Super Mario Bros, Street Fighter, and so on. So I ended up getting a hold of Punch Out as I heard many good reviews about it. I have to say I am addicted I have been playing this game all night and trust me I haven’t played a game this long since when I was a child. So I have to say this game is well worth it. So if you have a Nintendo Wii and looking to purchase a new game I highly recommend Punch Out. You will have a great time I am literally hooked on the game and just cant to play it again later on tonight once I finish off my work.

Learn How to Sell Online

May 26th, 2009 — 6:28pm

As man you know my whole journey on the Internet started by making money online by selling online. I started making money online first by selling a few junk I had that I sold on eBay. We all know the quote one mans garbage might be another mans treasure. Now I was a huge fan of eBay before with a power seller account with over 100k feedback but recently boycotted them because they “Suck”. Now eBay was a great source of income but it was not my main source of income, my main income was from my shopping cart website I had made. Now day’s eBay is raping people on fee’s which are a profit killer, so many have boycotted them in the recent past the same way I did.

Now I recently I have seen a huge amount of increase in the amount of people trying to sell online and trying to set up their shopping carts. Now many of these people have not set it up right at all and who really has money these days to hire professionals to get everything done right? So if you have set up a shopping cart and wondering why you have zero to little sales or want to know how to set up a website this product is right for you.  The ultimate goal of the product to help people sell online. Now the product is called Selling Unleashed and it pretty much teaches how to become a pro seller with tons of guides and useful information.

So if you are in the business in Selling Online or looking to start online and need help visit Selling Unleashed and check it out.

Is Wal-Mart Really Good for America?

May 20th, 2009 — 10:42pm

So a few days ago I ended up watching the documentary “Is Wal-Mart really good for America” Now everyone has different answers to the title of the documentary itself. I usually don’t like watching documentaries but this was well worth watching.

I honest really love how Wal-Mart is taking advantage of the Information technology. That little barcode on products is not only able to tell the price and quantity available but allows knowing everything about the product the size, color, every single detail. It allows Wal-Mart to know what time the products are selling, what item exactly is being sold, the color that most people are buying and so on. Every single depth of information of the product is available which allows Wal-Mart to know much more of what there customer are looking for. So the way Wal-Mart is taking advantage of Information Technology is remarkable.

What I really hate about Wal-Mart is their use of Globalization and destroying the local economies. The Main purpose was to buy for cheap sell for cheap. Now the purpose of Wal-mart is to sell for the most profit possible. They are pretty much greedy people who pretty much don’t care about the local economies and the affect they have on them. I understand buying products from China is cheaper but your literally paying people in pennies which ridiculous. Your making people work in harsh conditions in sweat shops which is inhumane in my opinion. On top of that local companies can’t compete with China and end up having to close down leaving many jobless. But again everyone has their own opinions it’s a free market not much we can do about it but I really don’t like how they are using globalization.

Another really neat thing about Wal-Mart is there “Everyday Low Prices” you can walk through Wal-Mart and you see these signs everywhere between aisles and on the wall with absolute cheap products but stuff which usually people don’t buy. So pretty much people think “hey this place is pretty cheap here” but sadly its just a psychological way of making you think it’s cheap but if you go to go get the product you wanted its probably the same price it is anywhere or maybe even more at Wal-mart. So that is something pretty neat.

So what are you thoughts about Wal-Mart I asked on Twitter and got some of these responses?

neestaples@ArfanChaudhry I think Wal Mart is crappy to its employees–but in many small towns– its the biggest employer. Employees on welfare.

LesbianCafe@ArfanChaudhry My friends hate shopping at walmart…it is hard to not shop their when their prices are better than everywhere else

laplante_ent@ArfanChaudhry I dispise Wal-Mart on many levels for many reasons

theVAsays@ArfanChaudhry Thoughts about Wal-Mart? I don’t like the way they operate. I’m glad I live in an area where I have other choices.

applealia@ArfanChaudhry ruthless mom-and-pop-store murderer

aries33007@ArfanChaudhry ook yea, they dnt want to put a new in my hometown bc they were afraid of the other small business would fail

SpitBaby@ArfanChaudhry I think that’s called Free Market Enterprise. If Wal Mart doesn’t do it someone else will.

salomey5@ArfanChaudhry Walmart is evil. As well as McDonald’s and Bell Canada.

devinhedge@ArfanChaudhry They also allow opened OTC drugs to be returned and placed back on the shelf.

Raphaelmaj@ArfanChaudhry Walmart is an evil corporation and I can’t remember the last time… Read More: http://is.gd/xCqC

karmacakedotca@ArfanChaudhry Wal-Mart? As a rule I try 2 avoid big business – whenevr possible. It’s like fair trade – paying more helps the community.

dstillw@ArfanChaudhry Walmart hires a lot of people and their stuff is cheap

rtetreault@ArfanChaudhry Absolutely. Your money spent leaves your community immediately. Always buy local and support your local business owners.

Making Money by Blogging

May 13th, 2009 — 4:56pm

Many of us blog for fun but what if I say we can make our hobby into a money making machine? I know many of my friends are starting to blog and all are wondering how we can turn this hobby into a full time income. When I first started blogging I was mainly was doing it for the fun of it; little did I know I can make some cash out of it. I bumped into a few blogs and thought hey if they could make money why cant I?

First of all my advice will be remove all those google adwords, widgetbucks, those ads that pay you per click they are useless and look ugly.

Some of the quick easy ways to make money without the effort of making visitors on the website actually click on links to make you money is by Review Me & Text Link Ads.

Review Me
Now this is a pretty great way to make money what you pretty much do is review products/ services and promote it via your blog. How simple could that be? You are getting paid to pretty much post a post on your blog. I don’t think it could be easier then that to make money.

Text Link Ads

Again this pretty much like the Review Me but this time you’re just selling text link ads on your website. Again you’re not promoting any ads like Google Ads where a user has to click on an ad for you to make a few cents because you’re getting paid to just place a text link ad on your site.

Now I know there are many ad programs like Google Adwords, Adbrite, Widgetbucks and so on which display various ads on your website according to the relevance of your website. Now each time a user clicks on an ad you make a few cents right? Now think of it this way what if you promote a product directly from your website with affiliates and each time a person ends up buying something you make a few dollars rather then a few cents? That sounds much sweeter then making a few cents when some one clicks, right? Majority of the time people that click on ads are actually interested in it so why not promote products/services via affiliates.

You can literally promote anything with affiliates from cell phones, stock brokers, credit cards, hosting services, aquarium products, and so on. So pretty much whatever your blogging about you will pretty much find products/services to promote with your blog.

Here are some great affiliate networks you can join with:
Neverblue Ads
AzoogleAds
Incentaclick
Pepperjamnetwork
Peerfly
Commision Junction
Now many people usually visit once and sometimes never end up visiting back wouldn’t it be great if we can get them to come back and maybe promote more products to them so we could earn some more dollars as well as traffic? Email Marketing is the way to go! You pretty much capturing there email some how by doing a contest, free e-book or so on something that will make them enter their emails.

With email marketing you can always send news updates, or product reviews or so on to their emails directly.
Constant Contact
Aweber
Icontact

Now another cool thing you can do with your Blog to make some money is similar to those pay per click but it’s with Kontera which pretty much takes random words in your blog and underlines them. When a user hovers over the word an ad is displayed relating to the keyword. How cool is that?

Hopefully this post is useful for many of you, I know and have seen many people tweet trying to make money by blogging but miserably failing. So I decided to make this post to help you out.

TED sixth sense technology

May 10th, 2009 — 9:14pm

I ended up watching the video and I was very impressed with the project they are currently working on. Personally I would not be surprised if technology like this will exist in the next 20 years and people regularly using it everywhere. Check the video out and leave a comment on what you think about the Sixth Sense project they are currently working on.
