Search Engine Optimization Guaranteed ranking?

October 24th, 2009 — 4:28pm

It’s quite funny how so many search engine optimization companies say that they can guarantee first page ranking on the page. That’s tells you that they know nothing about the algorithm and are after your money.

Twitter Manage and Traffic eh :|

January 11th, 2009 — 9:55pm

So a few days ago I started a project but it got cancelled because two programmers that I hired ended up bailing out on me. So the Domain was “TwitterManage.com” and though to myself what can I really do with this domain? So in the meanwhile I thought I’d install word press and see what happens and maybe turn this into a blog about how to manage your Twitter Account. To my surprised I checked the visitors on the website after few days and it was over 500 visitors I thought to myself how can that be possible? Googled “Twitter Manage” and I am number one out of 12 Million. I found that totally cool I am going to keep a close eye and see what terms people are searching for and coming into my website. Funny thing is I only have like 5 post I think and I did not even start optimizing the website I guess it’s the power of the keyword I have in my domain. If anyone interested being a Guest Poster on that feel free to message me.

Biggest SEO Mistake by Online Shopping Cart Owners

January 11th, 2009 — 2:50am

So many of you know that I have owned and helped out with many several online shopping carts and the biggest SEO mistake I know of is copying content from other websites word to word. I know many shopping carts have over 1000’s of products and literally is tedious going one by one and writing custom content. But the problem with copying is that Google hates duplicate content, and not just Google but many other search engines as well. Another problem is that you are copying someone’s copyrighted material without permission, and common guys I know you guys haven’t asked permission from a competitor website if you can copy their content. Some alternatives you have is hiring some one to do all the writing for you which is what I use to do especially with my horrible writing skills I never wanted my shopping carts to have a illiterate look towards it.
